True Aquaponic Organic Produce
East Texas Organic Vegetables & Microgreens
What We Are About
Freshly Picked
We harvest our produce within 24 hours of an order. We want our vegetables to be the freshest they can possibly be for you.
Locally Grown
We are located on a small farm in Flint, Texas. Our entire purpose is to serve our local community with fresh food.
Organically Good
All of our produce is certified USDA Organic. On top of that, we employ other practices that we believe make our produce “Better than Organic”.
How We Grow
Our vision from the onset has been to grow sustainable food for the local community. We have built our farm to be super efficient and planned to have redundancies in place to handle the unexpected and still continue to grow. We use both natural and artificial light to grow, and by using our custom designed double stacked water beds, we have the combined growing area of two greenhouses in one.
We use true aquaponics to grow our food. Aquaponics is the combination of fish (aquaculture) and plants grown in water(hydroponics). Specifically, we use decoupled aquaponics which allows us to achieve maximum efficiency and flexibility.
We grow each one of our plants. Our farm has the capability of producing 3000+ plants/week, and we grow each from organic seed. While some facility have robots, we have humans that care for each plant as we seed, grow and harvest.
Did you know that aquaponically grown vegetables are more nutrient dense than those that are conventionally grown? Because the plants are grown in water, they can more efficiently take up the nutrients making our vegetables fresher, better tasting and longer lasting.
To be certified Organic, the fertilizer must be organic in nature. This usually means manure of some kind. Using our custom digestion process, we ensure that our produce is never exposed to manure. This in turn ensures that our plants are free from some of the most common bacteria that plague the industry.
